Cathy Garcia was born and raised in the Los Angeles suburbs to Mexican immigrant parents, documented and undocumented. Cathy is currently the co-chair of the Santa Fe chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, and a second-year law student at UNM School of Law. She co-chairs the National Lawyers Guild student chapter and expects to graduate in 2020.

Jarrid Green is a Senior Research Associate at The Democracy Collaborative, a national research institute dedicated to developing new strategies for a more democratic economy.
