Greg Shupak has a PhD in Literary Studies and teaches Media Studies at the University of Guelph in Toronto. Laura Huss is an editorial and research associate with Rewire.com. Laura received her Master’s from the University of Cape Town in South Africa studying social movements and community-based development. Prior to joining Rewire, Laura was Research and Program Associate at National Advocates for Pregnant Women (NAPW). At NAPW she advocated against punitive attacks on pregnant people and conducted research on media misinformation, stigma, and the criminalization of pregnancy and drug use.
